Lance Hovland is in the position of Senior Manager, Power IBU within Digital Grid Management. Since 2021, Lance has been overseeing initiatives related to SCADA cloud deployment and distribution and transmission Operations Technology (OT) strategy. Previously, he spent 23 years in engineering supervisory and management roles with an electric distribution cooperative near Minneapolis and five years with an engineering consulting firm in the twin cities area. Lance is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Minnesota.
