Jon Curtis
Manager, Digital Grid Management, Aspen Technology
Jon Curtis is the Power IBU Manager, Digital Grid Management (DGM), at AspenTech and is based in Green Bay, WI where he leads strategic initiatives focused on modernizing grid operations through advanced technologies. Jon started with AspenTech in 2015 delivering SCADA solutions before transitioning to a power systems engineering role and delivering ADMS solutions. In his current role, Jon works with industry partners, utilities, and various national labs to identify new opportunities and challenges that can be solved with OT software. Jon leads the DERMS track of AspenTech’s Power & Utilities Advisory Council and works closely with Dr. Eric Sortomme to improve the DERMS product and prepare utilities for DER management. Jon holds a bachelor's degree in physics and a master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on optimization, both from Michigan Technological University.
